Withdrawal & Refunds
Withdrawals
A student considering withdrawing from Charlotte School of Law should first
consult with the Associate Dean for Student Services. A student’s academic
status—Good Standing, on Academic Probation, or Academically dismissed—will not
be changed because the student decides to withdraw from the Charlotte School of
Law.
To withdraw from the Charlotte School of Law prior to the term, a student
must submit a letter requesting a leave of absence or withdrawal from Charlotte
School of Law to the Associate Dean for Students. After classes have started, a
student wishing to withdraw from all classes must submit a completed official
withdrawal form to the Registrar’s Office. A withdrawal becomes official on the
date that the Registrar receives a completed withdrawal form. The student must
also satisfy or make arrangements to satisfy all obligations owed to Charlotte
School of Law (including return of library materials) prior to the request being
granted.
